Hello everyone,

This is the second grade Dolch word list. These are words that should be sight words for you child by the end of grade two. This means that your child should be able to read these words easily if they are in grade 3 or above. Have your child try them. If they struggle with a few words you could add those words to a word wall or add them to a spelling list so that they learn them well.

Look for the last Dolch list next week!

Think of the last book/story you read. If you can’t remember, find an interesting story in your book shelf or at the library. When you have read it create a map to show where the story takes place. This is one way to show what you know!
